Mod for full HW version...

Sorry if this has been suggested before, buuut.

With Homeworld 2's imminent release, and the complaints of many fans about some aspects of the demo, would it be possible to take the old voice of Karan Sjet ("Mothership", etc), and put it in, instead of the new one? And possibly the old pilot voices (the new ones don't say too much, the old ones had a lot more chatter and variable phrases).

Basically, what I'm asking for is a HW2 interface and voice to Homeworld interface mod. Any ideas/takers?


Oh, yea, and to give this post some reason to exist if this HAS been asked before, what do you guys think about a Freespace 2 mod for Homeworld 2?

the demo only has one sample for each type of speech, the full game has many more.

HW2 seems very different in feel and style. Personally I think we should embrace the difference, not try to recreate it's predecessor. After all, its just a computer game.

Totally agree with Durandel, and I think that these kinds of suggestions are just an outlet until the full version comes, cause everyone's really excited, so we're trying to pick apart the demo as much as possible to pass the time... it's like playing with the leftovers of your appetizer before the meal comes =). I bet the chatter in the full will be awesome :tooth:
