Transport the british victorian age into the 22nd century. Giant hulking gothic battle ships. Industrial, dark, imposing, grand.
The empire is in a golden age of stability and growth, when it all starts to fall apart. A rebellion is building, a ray of hope for the downtrodden masses.
Giant fleets of ironclad planetkillers. Fortress starships hammering at each other providing cover for the boarding torpedoes. Flocks of ww1 reminiscent fighters raking fire across a carrier's underbelly.
Email designs to me. All contributors fully credited.
Also seeking coders, modellers, and designers.
Thanks.
Keith
So what exactly will you contribute?

This is not meant as a slam, but if you were to post your modding resume, experience, skill, and intent to contribute yourself, you might get a bit more interest.
There's thousands of ideas out there, but it takes someone special to actually accomplish something with one of them, and it's easier to surround yourself with a good and dedicated team if you are also good and dedicated, and can demonstrate so yourself.

This sounds alot like battlefleet gothic.

John Romero was an "idea man"
There generally isn't room in the game modding community for pure game designers. People aren't going to do work for you because you have or had a good idea. Everybody has good ideas.
While it's very generous of you to offer to credit contributors. It's also presumptious.
If I were interested in a mod of this nature, wouldn't it be simpler for me to make the models and take all the credit myself?

Indeed... take the idea and bloat it to the point of being truely noticed and worthwhile... work on it yourself a bit... other ppl might join in.. (ugh i wish that worked for me and my half-dozen or so failed mod team attempts :-/)

too many generals, and not enough soldiers :P story of the world, story of the MOD community. This is just another fleeting mod idea that will never happen, sadly, but that's reality. You can tell from his first post. Gotta agree with verybad. GG
