Well, I wanted to install the dark crusade game, but I got the spooge driver's error.

I'm not in my house, so, in a few hours i'll post the xdialog and the warning.

But i'll say that my video card is a gygabite geforce 8500, I bought it a weed ago, and the game came whit the video card, so, it isn't a video card problem.

When I went to the nvidia webpage, the problem is that the drivers need windows xp 64 bit, and my windows is 32 bit, so the intaller doesn´t let my install again the drivers.

But I think that if the video card is new, i shouldn't install again the drivers.

Well, that's all. Thanks.

You would get this sorted much quicker in the DoW tech support forum. I'm sure a mod will be along soon to move it for you.

Welcome to the forums :)

nVidia has drivers for multiple OS's, not just Windows XP/Vista 64 bit. Make sure you're selecting the right type of OS when you're downloading drivers. Video cards rarely, if ever, ship with up to date drivers. You should ALWAYS update your video card drivers even for a new card, and you should always update your drivers when new ones are released.

Also, make sure you read through the spooge error sticky (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=74516) listed right at the top of the DoW tech support forum.

Well, thanks to all. It's been my fault. There is the option "windows xp/2000/media center edition", and I touhgt that option was only for those who have media center edition. But I was wrong, so, I could install the game :D.
