Hey guys Im having some problems getting DOW to work online. Ive been into the tech support forums and tried to open all the ports but its still comming up as port timming out when running the test app. I thought maybe the porblem was the router I was using so i recently switched to a netgear one that a friend recommended and uses to play DOW without any problems. Im wondering if its my ISP thats not allowing me to forward the ports needed, so I need to know is there anyone here with BT able to play this game online?

Perhaps posting in the Technical Assistance forum will yield better results in resolving your problem. Moving this there now.
Also, please don't open similar threads (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=159398) in different parts of the forum. Thanks. :)

I use bt and have the same problem as u, in the end i just gave up playing online (well, trying to anyway)
My auint also has bt but her router is a belkin and that works fine. so i think its just the bt routers that dont work with dow. As for your netgear router not working.... i have no idea
Have you turned off your bt firewall

It has nothing to do with BT, I'm with them too and i've never had any problems connecting and you don't need the CD to play online, so long as you have installed your own game and used your Cd key you should not have any problems.
My router is BT too before you ask.
I'm not sure about any of this technical stuff but I do know that it isn't to do with BT.

How does a topic full of people claiming nothing can be done and repeatedly asking for a solution that no one seems able to give be of help?
Thanks for the link though.
I'm not sure if I feel better at having read it. On one hand, I now know I'm not the only one in this situation. On the other, everyone else also seems completely buggered with no solution.
