Yes it is.

If you buy DC without owning DoW/WA then you can install it and play the campaign mode with all races and multiplayer using Tau or Necrons (but against anyone). To unlock the other races in multiplayer you need to buy the other games.

Thank you TBS thats what I thought it was too. I own all 3 DoW games but I don't have room right now for all 3 on my HD. I'm just trying to install DC so I can play the game online but every time I try i get a "feature transfer error" it says something like...

Feature: Dawn of war dark crusade
Component: Default component
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Incorrect function

Whats up?

Firstly, if you own DoW and WA you can play all races online in DC without installing the original games. This thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=140580) explains how.

As to the problem at hand, it could be a damaged disk - can you try copying the contents of the DVD to the harddrive and installing from there?

Well i tried that copying the game onto my HD nothing happened. I am getting this new error now.
