Low performance on DC. :/

Hi,
I played DC for quite a time and decided to buy a new graphics card in order to make myself a greater experience in game. I brought one EVGA 7800 but however i have slow fps in game if the graphics are on high or too many troops on screen.
Here's the detail of my spec:
CPU:2500+ Athlon
Ram:512
Graphics card: EVGA 7800
So can anyone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? or just one of my spec components is too slow. :/

As with most things in life generally, the system operates at the speed of its slowest component. The Athlon and the RAM (and probably the Motherboard too) are whats holding your system back.

It's hard to comment on anything else - but try to keep all background tasks and applications to a minimum; less processes equals more power/FPS.

Well actually i don't think i'm going to invest more money to upgrade my AGP slot motherboard. i am going to buy a new computer maybe in a year or two. :S Or, do you have any recommandation?
