wierd dow thing

ok, so i have all three dows but whenever i try and play the regular dow (since the beginning) it pops up with a little window that says :

RUNTIME ERROR!

program: C:\PROGRAM FILES\THQ\DWAN OF WAR\W40k.exe

abnormal program termination

and then the "disk loading" cursor comes up and doesn't go away till i restart the computer. any help?

It might help if post your warnings.log and dxdiag.txt.

i can't find either, and i looked at the thread, if it matters i have dell w/ vista so, i don't know it doesn't seem to have some of the stuff mentioned
