Mind wrenching Buzzing sound

[Faust]

I keep getting this intense buzzing sound while playing any version of DoW. It mutes all other sound for a few seconds and just buzzes very loudly. I updated my Sound drivers thinking that would fix the problem, but it did nothing. Anyone know a fix to this problem?

Does it only happen to the DoW games or are there any other games it happens to? Also could you post your warnings.log and dxdiag.txt please

My vid card is an old X300 Ati

I presume DoW can support the ATI X300 graphics card. Do you use the inbuild sound card on your motherboard or do you have an external sound card/box?

It seems that there is a problem with the game itself so i would reccomend reinstalling DoW.
