I recently bought a Macbook Pro and made it so it can dual boot XP to play games and use Office but, as I'm sure you can guess, I got the spooge message. I tried everything I read on here and still can't figure it out, I haven't received any other error message other than that one so I'm not quite sure where to check. I have a GeForce 8600M GT video card so if that's the problem then is there anything short of buying a different one I can try. Thanks in advance if anyone can help, and please no "well that's what you get for buying a Mac" type messages.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for the card and the latest patches for Dark Crusade (if thats what you're playing).

I am running DC on a GF 8600GT so i would have thought installing the latest graphics drivers should fix the problem.
BTW, which manufacturer brand is your graphics card?
