Steam uses downloads(There is also some Direct2Drive programs iirc) so essentially you could have Soul Storm quite quickly. If you live in the States you should purchase from Walmart as it offers a couple extra features there.

What extra features are being offered from Wal-mart? Their website doesn't specify anything...

Personally I find Wal-Mart and EB/Gamestop to be equally malignant institutions so I don't really care which I end up getting it from.

When I preorder games (which is like, never, but that's just because I don't buy many computer games) or pretty much anything else, I usually do so from Amazon. They tend to offer decent prices on preorders (usually around the MSRP, but occasionally $5-$10 lower) and offer free shipping on most things over $25.

But I order in the UK although I live in germany. Takes a week to deliver but at least I get a english, uncut version.
That's worth it.
