Automatching Problems

Before you say 'Vanil, open your ports!', know that I did for Dark Crusade, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. However, low and behold, I pick up Soulstorm today and am unable to successfully Automatch. It either tells me that I'm joining someone else's game, or that they're joining mine, but it's never successful.

Granted, it could be because there were only around 30 people in the room I was in at the time, but the fact that it read that the games were dropped so many times worries me. Is anyone else experiencing Automatching glitches and the like? Soulstorm is really great, but it feels like there are a few bugs in the system that need to be ironed out.

in dc you never had problems right?

I will assume your dc join rate was near 80% and working fine.

My only problem with SS automatch is that when I join games or when someone joins my game, there is a massive freeze during the part it says "someone isjoining" and then it quickly gets going into the loading screen. I can't understand why this is.

Yes, my success rate in Dark Crusade was as you said. Also, I am also experiencing that freeze/lag in multiplayer Automatching. We need a patch.
