Problem w/ creating a new profile

Hi, I just picked up the game, and installed it. I have everything running but after the first load screen I am asked to create a new profile. I put the profile name in the appropriate box click the create button and it clears my name from the box, but does not make a new profile.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I am sorry, if this has been covered somewhere else or this is not the correct forum. I did a search and did not get and hits.

Which game? DoW, DC or Soulstorm?

Have you tried doing a clean reinstall of the game?

No I have not wiped the game, and reinstalled it, when I first installed the game it asked me to reinstall to fix an error, then I set the graphics config utility to manual.

The game started up like the other 2, I got the thq screen, I got the invidia(sp) screen, I got the cut scene introducing the sisters, I got the load screen, and I got the menu screen w/ the imperumus registratum option asking to select a profile or create a new profile. The problem is when I type a name in the new profile name box and click the create button, the name is deleted, and a new profile is not made.

I went back to the necron and tau expantion(sp) and tried to create a new profile I got the same registratum option did what I did in the sisters and dark eldar one; it made the profile no problem.

As I said, I don't know if this is a bug, or I am not doing something.
