Soulstorm Disk not working

When I try to start it up, It just doesn't recognize the disk. it saids that there is no cd in the drive. I can here it attempting to try and the occasional Soulstorm music. Please help

It wouldn't happen if they just did the same thing like DC.

Having the same problem on both my win2000 rig as well as my clean XP rig. game doesnt recognize its own disk.
