Slight problem with SS

Hello, I am having a problem with DoW: Soulstorm, now its installed fine, I can get on the main menu and everything. But thats it, whenever I try to get onto the campaign or a skirmish the game just crashes, won't load anything.

Does anyone have somekind of idea what could be wrong?

I had somewhat the same issue, I bought over Steam and I ended up downloading the game 3 times and ended up running it with my firewall and virus scan disabled and it actually ran after that. The issue I had, it would at first hit the loading screen, then not go to the menu. I re-downloaded it, it would then go to the menu, started the tutorial (so I could get an idea how SoB played) and when I tried to make a missionary unit, it would audio lag, then massively lag and I'd have to either hard boot or try and wait 5 minutes to get to the desktop to close the game.

Summary: Try redownloading it (if you purchased thru Steam)
then try disabling your firewall (if you have one) and disable your anti-virus (again if you have one) If your problem still persists, it could be an issue with Steam (if you downloaded it thru them) But in the long run it may possibly be bad drivers?

I'm not sure if its the drivers, I didn't have this problem with DC. I didn't buy it via Steam. I'll try turning off my firewall and see if that works
