Anybody know the correct pronunciation for this? I always wonder if I'm pronouncing it right.

I always pronounced it Cat-er-chan

same here. Cat-uh-chan. How else could you do it? What I want to know, though, is if Exarch is Ex-arch or Ex-ark.

Since it's a real word, one would assume you would use the standard pronunciation of ecks-ark. And I've always pronounced Catachan cat-ah-chin.

cat-ah-chan

I vote cat-a-chan as well.

How about Chimera? I say it Ki-Mare-Ah but have heard it as Shim-er-ah.

I believe it's the former.

Haven't we had a bunch of pronunciation threads already, anyway?

That's for the mods to decide. They don't need help or bumps.

When I saw the topic, I thought, "What the heck? It's obvious." But apparently it's not :p

I say "cat - uh - chan" ... as in catapult minus pult plus chan.

I've always said Cat-a-chan.

Chimera is pronounced ki-meer-uh.

I use Ex-ark as Ex-arch sounds kinda weird to me.

Catachan may not be there, but Chimera is definitely in the [http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=91934]Informus Pronunciorum thread.[/url]

Haha, am I the only one who says "Cat-uh-can"? Though it is more of a 'kin' sound rather than a 'can' sound.
Here is another alternative I thought about: Ca-tauch-an
Cat-a-chan sounds too funny to me, so I will go on in my ignorance and continue to say it my way(s) lol

That's the thing, Cat-a-chan just doesn't sound right to me.

I usually pronounce ka-TA-chen emphasizing the middle syllable. They're like my favorite IG side though and I hate not knowing exactly how they're supposed to be pronounced.
