dark crusade said video card not supported

hi...previously i had problem with DC while playing multiplayer, my connection good so i try uninstalled n reinstalled it again, after finish install the game i restart computer, then i click DC but i had this pop up:
Your video card is not supported. In order to run Dawn of War you must have a Hardware Transform & Lighting-enabled video card
i dunno why, my GPU is nvidia en9600GT with 174.53 driver...please someone who know...

Is this the latest driver for your card? Maby after a few driver patches, they will fix this error. Do all of your other games work too?
I thiink your best bet will be to look in the Nvidia control pannel, under the manual graphics for DC and check that these are enabled

i'll already install new driver 174.74 beta, n it didnt work, all setting in nvidia control panel for DC is enable, and cc3 tiberium war work perfect...what other solution i have to take???

thankz...stormsong...i install DC patch and its work...but got new problem, after DC loading...in "New Profile Name" box i type my name and click "create" button, the problem is my name not appear in the "Existing Profile" , so i cant click "accept" button ( cant create profile so i cant play the game)
...i keep repeating it...nothing change, i exit DC and re-enter, same thing happen...please help...

edit: i read the earlier post about problem creating profile, for information, i already uninstall and re-installing DC, twice...and no other profile in Program file/THQ/Dark Crusade/Profile...just an empty folder (show all hidden file)

Delete the folder called Profile, and start DC.

yes Imperial, i already done that, but its same...cant create profile either...lol, im very tired..got suggestion...

make sure you have admin status and whatever stops programs making files without your permission, because im assuming from what your problems are, that you have vista.

yes brother-horus...thanks for reply...im using vista ultimate SP1, and im using admin account, i build this computer myself, and no one use this computer except me...and i'll check about program that intterupt DC....any other idea guys except above...plzzz

so sorry stormsong because im open another thread for same problem...well, i know the cause of my problem...it was Vista SP1...im uninstalling updated vista SP1 and DC back to normal again...thankz guys for helping... :corn:
