Moving save games across platforms

If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it.
I've been trying to move my soulstorm saved campaign from my old computer to a new one I have gotten. I copied my profiles directory from the old computer and copied it to the same place in the new one, but the save game is still not appearing in the menu. Are there any other files or settings that also would need to be transferred over for this to work? Both computers exceed the minimum requirements for the game.

Is one of the computers vista by anychance?
I dont think there are any other files you need.

Yes, the new computer is Vista Home Premium; the old one was WinXP Pro.

In your soulstorm install location, do you have a button that looks like below on your tool bar?

The one im reffering to is the compatability files button.

If so, click it and see if there is a folder called Profiles. If there is, cut it and go back and paste it in your directory.

That did it! Thanks very much for your help. Guess I need to put some effort into learning Vista better.
But, in my defense, I've only had it for 2 days so far.
