Get the FX editor program that I believe comes with the RDN toolkit.

It is very dufficul to make our own effects, it is much easier to script together a new effect from the library as the fx editor in rdn can be very difficult to get to work right. Try chopping up an fx.lua file and see if you can get what you want.

The fx editor its only good for creating effects from scratch if you learn how to use it.
Don't bother with what the documentation says about opening ANY existing effects because it doesn't work...well sort of.
I think that the reason the fx editor doesn't work on existing fx files is because of how the files are decompiled.
If you take a decompiled fx file and try to open it in the editor it will give you an error.
But if you select NEW and just play with a few values and save it,then try to open it,it will open it.
Now if you open this new file in Notepad and open any existing decompiled effects file you will notice that the way the codes are laid out look different.

you can preview any new effects you've created with FX sampler mod. Sadly, the file is gone. If you still have one, you are in luck. If not, I guess we need to wait for someone to put it up again.
