Strange lines

Ok I just installed Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War (yes, the very first one which I bought long ago). I'm running Windows Vista Business and I have a 1GB RAM and a 256MB GeForce 7600 GT video card.

When I first installed the game, it had strange lines between the characters (models?) in the game, and the 3D models kept flashing (disappearing and re-appearing). So I updated to patch 1.4, but this didn't fix the problem. How do I fix this? I can't play because I can't see anything.

Here is a screenshot of it. Notice the strange lines and the spots where you can see shadows, but no models.

That is normaly a sign of a damaged, dying or overheated videocard. Check your temperatures when playing and lower all settings ingame and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks. Actually I just wasn't thinking. I updated my video card drivers and it works fine now ;-) I'm going to keep that in mind for later though! Interesting!
