Trymedia?

Wow lol... I never expected to get any problems from this, but it has happened. I've been searching the forums on possible fixes too. Including editing my registry and re-installing the game. And I certainly am not going to do something as drastic re-installing XP, heh.

Either way. My OS is Windows XP Service Pack 3

After I try auto-updating from going online I get this message, whenever I try to manually install the patch, I get this -

Anyone know a possible method of dealing with this, it would greatly be appreciated.

I assume you purchased the game off some download to play site? The message seems to be telling you that the normal patch is incompatible with that version of the game and you will have to go to them for a working patch. As they have bothered writing an error message for this it is presumeably something they planned for and trymedia will have been provided with whatever they need to produce a compatible patch.

If you have the normal shop bought version of the game then theres a problem...

No, you're right. And thank you for getting back to me.

I sent in a support request to the company I had purchased my game from a few hours ago, they said they'll have to update their software. Because sometimes patches are released for games, without their notification etc. I'll just wait. I'll be back if this solves or doesn't solve the issue, again. Thank you.
