Data error on installation?

I keep trying to install soulstorm but a quarter of the way through I get this:

Feature-Dawn of war soulstorm
Component: Default component
File:d:/data2.cab
Error:Data error cyclic redundancy check

Am I screwed here?

Just quoting what TBS said in another thread;

A CRC error is the PC's way of telling you that it can't read from the disk properly. Generally it means the disk is damaged, sometimes its just dirty and a wipe will sort it out and on very rare occasions the drive itself may be faulty (in which case it would have trouble with all disks, so we can eliminate that possibility).

Give the disk a wipe and if that doesn't help return it for a replacement copy.
