CD key issues

I have owned soulstorm for a while, and I bought the platinum addition awhile back. I had given my brother my copy of soustorm, but he gave it back after getting warhammer online.

here is the fun part. When I went to reinstall soulstorm on my computer it consistantly tells me that my Dark Crusade CD key is invalid- which simply isn't true, since it worked the first time I installed soulstorm, I have and do play Dark Crusade online with my friend who doesn't have soulstorm.

So what file in what folder do I have to find and delete so it'll accept my CD key?

The CD keys are written to the registry (start > run > type "regedit" > do a search for THQ, you should find it). When typing in the DC key, SS checks to see if it matches the one already in the registry.
