I've played SS online for the past few days with no problem. However today, I got the blue screen of death, indicating that an interrupt failed to process on my second core on my Q6600. I figured this was a hardware issue, but my findings have proved otherwise.
I am able to play Warhammer: Age of Reckoning with no issue. In fact, I can watch tv though my USB tv card while playing it. WAR has higher system requirements than DoW, so being able to do these two things at once leads me to believe that my issue is not graphics card related.
I have uninstalled SS, and reinstalled it. It took me 4 tries to do this, as my system crashed twice while attempting to do this.
I can successfully open SS now, but it does not patch. When I try to log on, it prompts me to patch, and results in 0/??? progress. When I patched earlier this week, it displayed approximately x/160000 bytes uploaded, and seemed to install fine.
Has anybody else had this BSOD problem?
