Problem with port 6112?

Hello everybody:P
I'm new to the forum and i hope i'll follow all rules at posting my problem.

I've been a dow player for 1 year and i recently changed pc to play dow2. When i reinstalled soulstorm i noticed a problem connecting games with classic error code:
the host cannot be found

I watched at console and this usually happened with ips with :6112 (which is gate connected with hosting if i remember)

I'm italian and here there is a provider which works like a lan.. i have no possibility to forward ports, and i have no public ip.
This has always caused me some problem with automatch but i've never had problems with "lobbygames".

i don't know what could have changed since i change pc :(
maybe vista?
i don't think so..

Sending udp packet from 6112 to 6112
Waited with no reply, make sure udp port 6112 is forwarded.




but i can't remember old test result with old pc..

You should contact your ISP and find out if they are blocking 6112 for some reason.

in the past i was not be able to host automatch..
now i can -.-

they usually block almost all ports.. but since i reinstalled dow nothing changed
