Won't find any replays

I'm using Dark Crusade, I goto GR.com and download one, I put it into my DC Playback folder but when I go into skirmish to load it the game can't find it, just has an empty black box. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Are you fully patched and is the replay also from a fully patched game?

Also silly question, the replay will probably have been zipped - did you unzip it and put the .rec file in the directory?
