Hey guys,

I've recently reinstalled DoW and have been attempting to play multiplayer online; but I've been having trouble connecting to and hosting games. I've opened up all the ports the readme tells me and I've tried moving my computer to the DMZ.

Using the net-test application I get this response;

Sending udp packet from 6112 to 6112
Received from /66.134.89.225:6112 to 6112 "NAT detected"
Received from /66.134.89.225:6500 to 6500 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:27900 to 27900 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:27901 to 27901 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:29910 to 29910 "udp pass"

Can anyone help? Is "NAT detected" the be all and end all of my DoW experiance?

Save me forum people, you're my only hope!

NAT's the problem yes.
Its normally unlikely to get around nat issues but the only viable solutions seem to be port forwarding or setting the router to dmz.

What router do you have, Caldazar?

I have a BT Home Hub. I can't seem to find any more detailed description of model make/type than that.

I have the same router and the same problems.
I got mine working by setting it into DMZ mode via the hub management however this doesn't work for some users.

BTHomeHubs are notoriously bad for gaming. If your serious about it, it may be worth investing into a new router.
