What About the Crashes?

Has anyone wondered about the relic boards constantly crashing?
I have and have figure out a couple of reasons, other wise I have a coulple of theories

1. Everytime a new persons sn is created the server gets overloaded and crashes
2.Relic is modifyng the site to make it more noticible
3.Too many people log on at once, and once again server gets overloaded.

As per the several mentions in forum issues, these forums are just really unstable.

The forums being down for the last bit have been because Telefragged moved their servers around and the DNS Changes have made the forums un-viewable by much of the world. I had to use deadguy's DNS changes to be able to see them from Home and Work.

As for your new users crashing the system.... I've watched as several users are added everyday, and the forums do not go down. So no, I don't think that adding a new user crashes the forums

It's basic Chaos theroy. These forums are completely unstable, and if one man sneezes in Nigera, that will cause a slight change in current that will cause something else and end up making these forums crash. Again.

1). I created a new screen name and posted immediately afterwards
2). Entirely possible.
3). As much as that would be cool, it's incredibly unlikely. I can't imagine any self-respecting servers being unable to handle 17 people at once.

I've got less problems believing that the servers just suck and go down for no reason. Or who knows? Maybe they locate the servers in the middle of a river or something. That would account for the dead time it has. Or maybe a horde of midgets are lodged inside the servers, and to keep from starving, they need to eat the wires. Relic keeps trying to get rid of them, but the midgets have evovled very good persuasion skills over time, and any exterminator joins their side. That's clearly the only rational explanation.
