I like the corvette, looks quite Taiidan. I would like to include it in the BtF mod.

Amazing work, I could definately use some help from a modeler/modder of your quality. Specifically, Cabinny is making a low-poly version of my Ranger class frigate, and since you've managed to get turrets working in-game, I was wondering if you could assist in me in properly setting up and scripting the lil' beast. I think I have the pivot points in the right place and whatnot, but I dunno the process for either texturing or scripting the turrets themselves. I was wondering that if I was able to get a textured version of the ship to you, could give me some direction as to what I either should have done to set the ship up for correct importation into hw2 or just flat out poke my model around yourself.

Looking forward to them :-) Is the artillery frigate bigger than a normal one?

Greegy,

Those are spectacular. The corvette does have some familar curves to me. Keep up the great work.

One thing about the corvette. How are they supposed to see out of it? The turret is blocking the forward view out of the crew compartment. At least, that's what I think the little lights on the bottom are...

oh, and where'd the bridge go for the arty frigater? :hmm:

Shifted entirely to the CIC, they got tired of having the navigation bridge strafed by fighters :)

Yeah, that has got to suck, out there being bad ass and having your day ruined cause some s%*thot fighter jock pops your windows.

Worst of all are the Star Destroyers - the whole bridge section is a half-kilometre high collision hazard, with the most critical ship survivability measure poised on top: the shield generators.

:) Pun intended

hehehe..The Empire has a bad habit of putting single point failure modes into their biggest ships. Luck for the story writers eh,

the simple solution is to not think of them as shield gens, but sensor globes (ignores canon and whistles a happy tune) :-p

Actually, they are domes for the fearsome Imperial Washing Machines Mk II. Do you know how hard it is to get stains out of that white storm trooper armor?

Greggy,

Your stuff is way too cool for you not to have a website.

:)

These look incredible. Maybe Relic will hire you for Homeworld 3. :)
