GeForce2MX wierd probs

I've recently bought a new Geforce2 MX400 card, 64MB, and i've been getting wierd problems with Homeworld. Whenever you move the cursor over a shipor button a line flashes through the centre of my monitor.

Do i need a clean install of Homeworld or should i just update the drivers completely?

Also it said i was missing a "monitor7.cat" file when i asked for my win98 disk.

I'm sorry to say but really the MX cards aren't worth the money. They don't seem to work properly.

The MX Cards work fine, they have most of the same features as the Full cards they are just slower.

I have an MX and it's the best PC buy I ever made, it's a solid card that I'd recommend to anyone. The only problem I've ever had with it is a bad 16 bit z buffer in most games, but the rest of my comp can turn over 32 bit so it doesn't bother me.
