I made a squat army using WHFB dwarves with tau guns...

thats cool, tho you could make them using WFB dwarves, and sm multi-part kits... i think that would be more inline with their arrpearance... tho if u filed down those tau sholder pads, and used two of em, that would look cool.

i'm going to be making my own recently LIBERATED (not corrupted :P) chaos legion using a mix of sm and csm multi-part kits... much like the space wolves 13th company, except USING parts with chaos iconography

im considering converting a modern m1a1 abrams tank and using it as a imperial tank... the only problem is finding the right scale! any one here know the 40k scale?

I don't know the scale, but it can't be too hot; in reading the fluff years ago, I came across a section which said a barefisted space marine could punch through the armor of modern-day tanks like the M1 Abrams.

I once heard you should use 1/30 scale vehicles for conversions.
