I know that the game has not even hit beta yet but I know that all of you are thinking the same thing. Expansion with all the new cool stuff form the all new 4th ed books! I'll plead now that the devs if sucessfull here will try thier damdest to make and expansion to this already kick butt game. I am very happy to see that a dev group is very active looking at what people have to say. Oh, and congrats this game is going to rock and we all love ya for it!

Yeah, yeah! So I am kissing a little tushie here, I think they deserve a little for taking on this title.

Well I think the 4th Edition modifications should be put into practice as they occur through patches- just things like weapon loadout options and other stuff from new codices. Maybe IC-style downloaded addons for bigger things like the huge Eldar overhaul we have been hearing about.

While this thread was meant with good intention, the topic has come up too many a time already. Firstly, the game is not a port of the tabletop, JuiceWeazle and Shakrith, it is merely an RTS that will stay true to the 40K universe, not the TT game. Therefore, the 4th edition rules are completely irrelevant to DoW. Secondly, we need to see how well the game sells guys, before we can bug the the team about an expansion or sequel of any kind. When the time comes, we can talk about expansions and sequels and races to your heart's content. But for right now lets keep it to the first DoW, which, might I remind you, isn't even finished yet. :D
