Actually I think it was blue with a small rainbow running down their helmets...

Blue armor, with an yellow, red, white, red, yellow rainbow running down the center of the helmets. Theri chapter symbol is a stylized lightning bolt with a wing. If you want to see a picture of the model look into the "phonebook" meaning the GW 04-05 complete model catalog. You canfind a picture of the model on page 338.

Sorry there Strybjorn but that is fan fiction on the RW. Outside of some pictures in the old Rogue Trader rule book there is no fluff on them.

However there are some hints in the same book as to what may have happened to them.

Page 225-26 of the RT books talks (in part) about the Adeptus Sororitas and that one of their functions is to help maintain the genetic purity of the Adeptus Astartes. The accompanying picture is of "Sister Sin" gunning down Brother Vermillion of the Rainbow Warriors.

They disappeared from anything GW put out after RT days and reappeared with the "phone book" or the SM Collectors Guide for you UKers.
