battlewagon

what do i need more.

Well, you can make en excellent army out of what you have there. And I don't know what you mean with "what do I need more?". It completely depends on you, what you need.

oooooo nobz... now in my opinion and many people think similary, nobz cost whey to much to be worth taking in a battle. what are they 20 points each? basic, in my opinion avoid nobz mobs, too expensive and can be wiped out with concentrated shooting.
for my retinue i have taken cyborks and a mad dok, mad dok them becomes none indepedant character and warboss can join him. cyborks are like orks but with T5 and a 5+ invulnerable save. now that rocks!
i havnt got an ork army meself but im planning to get one and ive got the opening units. if i was you i would avoid shooty units like shootas and flashgitz, orks just arnt made for shooting.

don't take flashgitz or shoota boyz they can't hit things worth crap...
you should get a looted land raider
use slugga boyz and ard boyz etc,
get alot of grotz they are awsome

Not many orks can...
With uruk thraka in there it makes me think speed freaks... Speed freaks are uber fast to get into battle, in CC orks just own becuase all 'boyz get 2 attacks in CC (which is more then space marines...) :D I myself am going to make a Speek Freaks army after my Black Templar army is complete.

my 7 nobs in mega armour killed 1256 points of IG in cc
so i dont understand what u mean

Dont have maga armour unless you put the mega booster on it to make them go faster,
and defenitly drop the flash gitz and posibly eth shoota boyz, and maybe swap the basilisk for a landraider.

A friend of mine would like to say this:
What are you talking about?!?! FlashGits are one of the best choices in the Ork army!! how many army's do you see walking around with 5man squads ALL equipped with rokkit launchas (insert random name for MissileLaucher/RocketLauncher)?! Thats 5 models (4 normal Flashgits + 1 Nob) all with rokkit lauchas for the slim cost of 84pts!!! (And isnt that about what ONE of your chosen champions cost?! :P)

Flash gitz suck, get the anti tank orkz(dont remember what there called) they can take launchers and there a troop choice not eleets leaving more room for stormbopyz and skarboyz.

my nobs is the best part of my ork army!.
that is what i think becuse they are the one who has destroyed most..
and i like flash gits they rock.
they can shoot down space marins like nothing

"Flash Gits sucks" ..... right.... Lets just see what happens when that space marine army is up against a BadMoon army with no less then 45+ rokkit lauchas! ! ! Or if the army is playing against another Ork army, then 45+ BIgShootas!! So in short, NO Flash Gits does NOT suck! And btw, why would you have Skarboyz, when you have a lovely unit called Cyborks?! which can even get a trukk!

what sorta battle were you playing? and anyway killing guard in CC isnt like a talent. in my opinion they are a bit expensive and if they get destoryed then a lot of your points are already gone.

Invest in a Battlewagon for those Skarboyz or, alternately, the 'Ard Boyz (or better yet those Nobz). It'd be worth the effort to convert one because not only can it act like a glorified Fire Magnet (people generally start to panic when they see a vehicle carrying 20 scary Orkiez travelling faster than it normally should bulldoze towards them) allowing for other elements of the army to get up close, but it'll also get them into combat far more quickly. Even if it gets blown up halfway across the table, the boyz can still bail out and keep on fightin'. They will already be halfway across the table and you will still get them in quicker and probably in better condition (elite footsloger unit=bullet magnet, but if they're exposed to less turns of fire [the Battlewagon is their 'Shield'] then they won't be so badly effected) than if they slogged their way there. It's also open topped, so they can assault out of it in the new rules.

if you do use your tanks at least give them red paint. it makes the vehicles move faster. grot block line of sight!!!! try gitting some of those

Get some more big gunz, i kno a basilisk is good but i went for short range zzap guns (Which can have a maximum of 10 Str Ap2) rather than Kannons.
Flash gitz are possibly one of the best units in the army, about 40 shots coming from them, Shoota boyz ARE not a waste because it is being stupid for orks to just rely on close combat, besides, if you have an ork Nob with them, you can give him some cool upgrades as well.
Skarboyz are a great choice, which are troop choices in my Goff Clan :D.

ouch, seems like a hudge grotz mob arging for things that should be clear to any orks, SPEED!!! get AT LEAST 4 TRUCK!!! seriously, 3 at least.. 1 HQ squad with your big boss and make sure to ad a mek with a kustom force field, the 2nd is your mad dok ( cuz CYBORG ARE WAAAAY ABUSIVE for theyre cost) and the rest is alots of orks and grots to drain firepower cuz u got soo munch on the table that it scares ur opponent. ( 4 trucks with boyz=40boyz, nobody sees that coming the first time, trust me) and u make sure u got a rokit launcha on each trukk, + a 5man squad of tanks bustas with rockit, give the nobz a rockit too, make em follow the hudge mob so they can provide a minimal firepower agaisnt tanks. skarboyz, stormboyz, ard boyz, kommandos, ORKISH ELITE SUX, ( seriously, boyz for 9 pts is very violent, keep it that low and get more boyz) grotz are important too, first for decoy, second for pure fun.
Enjoy the bloodbath!
and dont forget, RED PAINT GOZ FASTA!
*sorry i was forgetting, Basilik is basic, every ork playing for is odds of winning the game should get one for 100pts, it worth it.

...nob bodyguards should absolutely never be left out if you've the points, man. cyborks also shouldn't be left out, in fact give those 2 units trukks and u got some nasty rush units to keep your enemy from blastin you, although it may end up(if you use em right) that your boys can just sit back and watch the boss and his bodyguard rip through 1 half of the other army, while the cyborks clean up the rest...and dont bother w/ a painboss if you're not gonna have the cyborks.
get a lot more kans and some grots and burnaboys. put the grots right in front of the boys, and the burnas right behind the grots. then give the burnas a mek w/ a force field. now, your ladz get a 5+ cover save from the grots. if yu make that, the wound is instead taken on the grots. now make a 5+ invulnurable save for the grot! otherwise awesome army. maybe add some trukkboys in to support the cyborks and warboss if you take the tactic i gave above...

When you make the 5+ save with the ork with the intent for the grot to take the blow, the grot gets removed as a casualty if the save is made. If the grot simply took a wound, then I can see the 5+ save bein' made for the force field but the model is simply removed so there's no saves to be made. The way I see it, it's just the one 5+ from either the grots or the force field but not both.

Correct... The Grot is removed as casulaty instead of the orc, if the 5+ "gortshield" save is made.
Though, if you have enough Grots (YES! Im still talking THIS eddition!), yu can BLOCK LoS to your Orks, and thereby the enemy has to gun down the wall of 3pts meat, that has a 5+inv save!!! :D

if you are going in cc with your Boss and Nobz, I suggest getting a trukk just so they can get there faster because we all know the movement with mega armor is the same thing as trying to push a turned over bus with your bare hands. It takes a long time for either to get somewhere.
