How much damage to heros and ubers does the Farseer's Mind War attack do? I like to entangle enemy FCs and Mind War him down, but my Dark Reapers would waste him anyway if he was entangled. What's the best use of this spell?

Mindwar is best used VS a commander you will get rid of him much faster and give you more time to shread the rest of his army.
Note that an entagled commander (except fraseer) is less dangerous then a shooter sqad.

Mind War isn't that good, unless they've upped it in power since the Beta.

Even in beta it was a nice slap on any commander's butt.
And it's FEE so why would I not use it as much as I can?

Mind War in beta was useful in early game, since it did significant damage to enemy commander units. In late game, it was often not even available, since the other Farseer abilities you researched replaced it on the console due to lack of room. I presume this has been fixed. However, if you could select it, was a great way to take down Bloodthirsters or enemy Avatars.

I've heard that mind war has random damage, and my experiences seem to support that. It's hard to tell through all the other damage, but I've seen it appear to do both less than a tenth and more than a third of a commander's life bar. I mainly use it on mekboys and FCs.
