1st Mission Can't Build Listening Post

I just installed the game and started playing the campaign. I've built the Chappel-Barracks, Armory and Power Generator and taken over three strategic points. The mission objective now says to build a listening post but this does not show up as an option for the servitor to build! Has anyone else had this problem and is there anyway around it?

UPDATE: I ignored that objective and continued with the mission and was able to complete it.

Hmmm is the spot there on the buildings list but blank? Can you click it (should be third from the left)?

It doesn't show up in the building list. I tried clicking on the spot where it is supposed to be and nothing happens.

Did you do any of the objectives out of order? Like for example, you're given one objective, then a second objective, and you complete the second before you do the first one?

Ya, I probably did. I built the base up quick so I probably built some of it out of order. I think I took a strategic point before it was an objective as well.

I had this too, I can't say if I built anything out of order or not, but I was deffinitly unable to build listening posts.

Same here, can't build listening post, as the spot is blank. But, it does not prevent me from advancing to the 2nd mission. In the next mission, building Listening post is not a problem.
