Allow me to introduce myself, my name is STFN [ingame]. I am still new to the game even though I played since beta and been playing the "space fairies" ever since. You are all thinking, "Yo wtf stfu and replays now!" :werd:

Map: Meeting of Minds
Players: Stfn [Eldar] Vs. [CW]Trunks [SM]
Type: 1v1 Automatch
Winning Conditions: Default
Winning Condition Triggered: Annihilation
Duration: 13:00
Description of Battle: This was my first game during the first day of DoW Retail. I was matched up against a good player and we battled it out. I kept him pretty contained mid-game by neutralizing points and scounting around.
Filename: First Game

Map: Outer Reaches
Players: Stfn [Eldar] Vs. Knights [SM]
Type: 1v1 Automatch
Winning Conditions: Default
Winning Condition Triggered: Annihilation
Duration: 8:22
Description of Battle: Knights slicked me at the beginning by neutralizing the stragetic point ourside my base. At the time I didn't know you could build a listening post while the enemy is neutralizing your point. A turning point battle that won me the game. Decent micro, bad macro.

Double Post

Map: Deadman's Crossing
Players: Stfn [Eldar] Vs. Bazuul [SM]
Type: 1v1 Automatch
Winning Conditions: Default
Winning Condition Triggered: Annihilation
Duration: 19:32
Description of Battle: This is a must-download replay. At the time Bazuul was #1 on the top 5 list and I was getting nervous because he also beat me the game right before this. My micro was decent, macro was decent... Had a lot of guys idling and i should've used webway relocate. But this replay has a very sneaky tactic I see will be used A LOT in the future. ENJOY!

Last Edit: THANK YOU PIKE!

i just watched the 4th game one, now i haven't even played online yet as i feel i still have a problem spreading out while teching and building at my base. but after watching the demo i see i'm not alone :D you guys didn't build anything at your bases!?!? and he rarely even built a listening post. i was shocked at the small amoun t units used by each and how so many workers just sat there. Also horrible Force Commander usage on his part :? i thought you were going to lose that battle until i saw your farseer come in.

Yeah, tech-ing too fast will leave you open to the very popular "rush" and as far as sitting there with his servitors... Listening posts increase the requisition income. Too bad theres no ninja smiley, cause I would've used that to describe my farseer. :werd:

thats what i was saying he didn't build any listening posts he just kinda took points and built squads. I also just watched the first one, whats up with people just sitting there with their force commanders!?!? again they sat there and let you shoot them up with 2 squads of guardians when they probably could have won. they left their force commander their only shooting?!! and didn't rush the guardians with their space marines who are obviously better in HtH.

In the heat of combat, it is harder to react that fast. His Force Commander was entangled and unable to move.... Twice...

I've increased the file limit to 300KB, this should be enough for any type of recording.

Edit: Sorry supposed to only have one replay per post, I'll keep that in mind. Moved.

A 9/24/04 replay.

Map: Fallen City
Players: Stfn [Eldar] Vs. Landwehr [SM]
Type: 1v1 Automatch
Winning Conditions: Default
Winning Condition Triggered: Annihilation
Duration: 17:56
Description of Battle: Every second of this replay is intense. The micro on my side was good, Landwehr's was amazing. I thought I had him then he took the advantage and took my points while I wasn't looking. Great Game. I hope people I play don't get mad over me posting replays... It is for the good of the community. I want people to get better and they can do that by watching good replays. Then we can have more fun in the battlefield.

Uh, why would people get mad over you posting replays here? That's what this sub-forum is for.

Some people like to be secretive about their strats/techniques and if someone watches one replay enough, they can extract a lot of information from it and play alike.

Good games.
i find i learn more from defeat than i do from victory.
Tho defeats are rare lol

Those were nice. The one with Bazuul was hilarious. IMHO warp gates shouldnt be able to be built anywhere. =)

Got a question though, none of the beta players go hero first....any particular reason for that? In my experience thus far its given me an edge in several games. Just curious really as of yet I havent figured out a GOOD reason why I shouldnt.

another tact squad of some sort allows you to cap an extra point, but i don't think it makes much difference whether you go hero first or squad first. by the time any serious engagement occurs you both have heroes out.

Nice color sheme!
They almost look my TT Eldar, although a bit less dark...
How did you get that result? I tried to convert my TT shem to the game but I got a very different result.
(it still looks good though...)
