Disconnect stats being applied unfairly to the Ladder Page

right now i have 2 Disconnects in my stats even tho i never ever disconnected during DoW ever since installing Retail

it seems i "acquired" these Disconnect stats after i load into a game and i get the message: "DATA SYNC ERROR, YOU HAVE BEEN DROPPED FROM THE GAME"

this is not a firewall issue or anything at all to do with my computer system. this is a GameSpy issue that has botched my record, and the record of hundreds of other people i'm sure

this especially sucks since it makes my Win Ratio worse than it actually is. my illegitimate Disconnect stats are totally unfair

please fix this bug and also remove all Disconnect stats from all accounts once it's been fixed. that is the only fair way to ensure that players' records are accurate

Think for a second... you've got a competitive player who goes on to get a good win/loss ratio... then he realizes that he can disconnect his machine from the internet or exit the game prior to completion, and he'll not have his loss counted. So, you get people shutting off their computers, etc, in order to get out of a loss.

Games with sync errors shouldn't really count at all, but that could be considered the same thing... find an exploit that causes a sync error, and use it to get out of a loss.

What will likely happen though, is stats will be reset after a patch (or I hope they will).
