Not a bug

I downloaded the patch today, loaded it onto my computer, then restarted DOW. Now every time I try to join the lobby on the internet it keeps asking for me to download the patch again. I have redownloaded the patch three times now and yet it still wants me to download it once more every time. Help?

Yes I live in OR usa. Got it in best buys here so it better be english lol, but yes its still happening=\ i cant get into the lobby because it keeps asking me to download it again...

Did you modify your w40k.ini file? It is supposed to override it no matter what, but please confirm that the game version line is 1.01 and not 1.00.

Odd I havnt moddified my game what so ever but it still states its 1.00 even after I download the patch.

Where do you download the patch? I can't find it on the official site...

Doom:

Try editing the line to say 1.01... but I'm suspicious if to whether or not the patch actually installed or not. You may want to uninstall, and re-install from scratch.

Ok figured out what went wrong. *MY FAULT* A more details asnwer. I found after a crash on my computer my cd code wasnt being reconised on the internet. So I redownloaded the game but I had the first time changed the place of where dow downloads. On the second time I didnt and so I had two dow's on my computer one which didnt work and one that worked. Well the exe on my desktop was the old one where the new one got updated but didnt have an exe on my desktop. This way whenever i turned my game on i would be turning on my old one*not updated* so sorry my fault I will change the subject.
