people say updating your motherboard stops the game from crachig and i need to find this driver

What operating System?

If you've got the standard 5104US, and haven't upgraded it then you've likely got an Intel Video Card, which is not supported.

Your warnings.log file and dxdiag.txt file will help.

k, couple things here.

Get the latest nvidia drivers from www.nvidia.com

Second, change your graphics aperture to 64MB in your system bios.

Third, make sure you play on the recommended graphics settings that the graphicsconfig.exe gives you.

Reboot your computer, and hit F1 as it starts (or perhaps Delete) that should take you into the bios. Once in the bios, look for the AGP aperture size.
