Autoupdate won't update

as per the thread title, i go online and connect then i get the message to download ver. 1.01 english, and i do, and it installs....then....nothing.

I go back in the game and its still ver 1.00 and when i try to go online, it asks me to update AGAIN!, please help. I've done this merry-go-round at least 4 times, and its really begining to piss me off.

It could be an install problem, since the patch folder DOES contain the patch installer, and I have run it from there, and still nothing.

I checked the registry and it says its ver. 1.01, its just the game never updated, GOD this is so freakin annoying...please help!

Did you copy your installation to another directory and are running the wrong shortcut?

no its the C:\programfiles\THQ\Dawn of War\

and I did re-do the short cut..still nothing.

Did you previously modify the wh40k.ini file? Open it, and check to see what version it has in it.

It did still say ver. 1.00 and I updated it to 1.01, will try agian....
