Hosting Games TroubleShooting

I bought the game one week ago, in french, cause it is the only version available around here.

i tried to host or join ip related games to play with some net friends, and every time i get excluded from the game at launching, with the mention of "synchronization error".

Is this related to language of my game?
And if so, will downloading the english version of the game, and installing it with my valid cd-key work?

You need to patch the game to 1.01.

If you do not patch properly, uninstall, reinstall, and re-patch.
