Restart the mission but don't lose either of the two assault squads that you get at the beginning. That's what I did after getting the error three times.

hmmmm the only scar error I'm aware of on that mission is that if you build the second base to early, you're hosed.
I know I lost one of my squads on that mission... do you have a screenshot of the SCAR error?
