Yes, again someone is posting this subject...

But really, what is this?

I can't host, even if my routers port 6112 udp, tcp is open, and the ZA firewall is configured correctly... og disabled... nothing has its effect.

We just get the message about the host might have left the game, or anyway is unreachable...

I dont think the warning.txt will do any good posting, since everything is as it should be... but it does end with this line

"Application closed with error code -1"

... :smash:

Anyway, is this a known problem? not to be able to connect no matter what... LAN works perfectly... So does my two pcs behind LAN by Direct host... Which really doesent count, since they are on the same IP... - the problem is to get in touch with people outside your own network...

Its very sad... am I the only one who experience this?

:werd: :nana: :argh: :Slap: :bandit:

Please advice... CupeX!

(BTW. what is this lame feature in the game, when you have big armies... and you're base i blown to pieces the game ends, even though you have youre entire army, and would like to beat the living crap out of youre fellow player.. but the game ends if you loose youre buildings... ?? STUPID! It should be when youre entirely whiped out, and not just because you loose youre buildings...)

Terminator... NICE pic... luv those machines with light infant.... they rip them apart..

No I took everything off... only the "ANNIHILATE" thing on... since you have to have at least one reason on... stupid!

when each army is at its opposite base destroying, and have to meet after doing their thing, but the game ended... and we had really been lookin forard to this battle, but nooooo....

This is a problem with NAT, more specifically, the host is sending the wrong ip back for the other users in the game that are behind a NAT. Hopefully it will be fixed in a patch.

Ok cupex, as far as the direct hosting issue, ive had it too, and im NOT behind a NAT. hell i have ZA, which i completely kill and it still does not allow me to host or join consistently. It may be sending the wrong IP universally, i dunno. the fact that its working so inconsistently is odd.

As far as ur second question: I had the same opinion at first, but the bottom line is that the base is a valid target, and it forces people to put some effort into defence rather than all out attack. Besides, if it were the way you suggest, ppl would infiltrate two squads and the game would turn into hide-and-seek.

an option would be nice, but this by itself is better than your idea by itself.

Dude, It's just something I've gotten familiar with during all other strategic games... And off course it should be a feature...

Still, I dont agree - I like the hide and seek - humiliation thing!... - but hey, thats life...
