Hey,

I virtually try everything this forum as proposed for this bug. The only solution for me was to put in my bios the performance setting to "safe".

The can be found in the north bridge chipset configuration. Near the agp aperture size. The possible setting are:

safe, normal, agressive, auto (default)

That the only solution I found with no performance hit (trust me).

I've got Asus P4S800-E --> P4 with a SiS655TX chipset.

I hope thi strick will do the thing for most of you!

Chuck

Interesting... yet another obscure fix.

Can you double confirm for me by cranking it back up to Agressive, see if it crashes again?

That'd be awesome.

Griff, did you see Nutter's reply? Apparently your hardware's damaged. PSU might not fix it.
