Well its kind of a comp but well the idea is that we need some avatars here ppl can use, so start creating!

Outside avatars cannot be linked on this forum its all uploaded to the serrver so only a select collection of avatars will be used for the majority of users.

Post your Avatars here and we'll see who gets chosen.

no limits on numbers, the more the better, more to choose final Avatars that will be uploaded.

If you have one or 10 Avatars that are chosen you get a custom title.

Width is more of an issue, not length.

I'd say 150 width by 200 length being the outer limits, although any images may be resized. Smaller than that would be more accpetable but if your design just won't fit. Use those as guidelines.

Long and thin rectangles may also be used it doesn't have to be a square, Animation can also be used. But make it simple.

There is no deadline at this moment, when we get enuf together, then we'll post the winners. You have at least a month.

ADUN the first one is about 2x (2.3, actually) the allowed size. Just compare it to the width of the bar on the right where the avatars go....

K i have taken some of the images here and put them up as possibles for avatars.

I have also found a way to outside link avatars, yet they will still appear in the list for all to use, so if a news site has an image they would like to use or a clan has an image i can manually add it as needed, yet it will be able to be linked to by anyone.

(Mind you naughty ppl using avatars like that who are not affiliated in any way will be shot out of the nearest ion cannon)

Hopefully ignus will allow us to use some of his art and that should add some great options for ppl. I have decided to go for the more serious avatars, so no soup cans or gorillas plz.

I am keeping image size to 150 width on all avatars so they will be resized to fit that. However the height is varying depending on the graphic so keep in mind that if your image is NOT 150 it WILL be resized and may look wierd when done so. So plz submit all images at 150 width.

Height is at a maximum of 150 ONLY if its a really good image. Try and keep things to 130 height if possible.

Keep em coming, uploads will start soon.

5 new avatars curteousy of Ignus have been uploaded, as well as a relic entertainment avatar.

Those avatatars with *ONLY are only for those ppl who are members of that group, HWU avatar will be coming shortly and hopefully an RN one aswell.

A couple of those are too big, other than that, don't use MSPaint to resize images. They look really jagged and awful.

i personally dont like any of them... they look... bad... it might just be cuase you used paint... if you want somethin better go dl psp7 trial... thats what i did a few months ago to use for making thumbnails for HSA.... and of course there are ways to beat the 30 and 60 limitations.... please note i dint say cracks..... just different ways to go about tricking the program...

this is not a request thread for personal Avatars.

No beast you can't have one.

secondly most avatars have been downsized to 120 from the 150 width. 150 was a tad large.

In submitting future avatars please take this into consideration.

You may not see the new resized avatars as yet because you may have them cached still. Deleting yout temp Internet files should fix0r this.

Photoshop tip: when an image is reduced, it can get a little blurry. To counter this, use Unsharp Mask (usually 20-40%).
