Perhaps it is not a real bug, but for me, and although for my friends, it is very frustrating that dreads and other vehicles need such a huge amount of space on the map. Very often vehicles do not move the way you want because the vehicles need three times more space than it obviously should. The result is that the vehicle acts completly stupid and destroys your hole formation or does nothing. In my opinion this is one of the worst bugs in DoW because micromanagement is an very important part of an RTS game.

Please excuse my bad english but for me it is a foreign language.

I agree. Tanks/skimmers aren't that bad, because I've seen whirlwinds and landspeeders line up very closely together, but, dreadnoughts need an obscene amount of space, and the really irritating thing is, is that all that space between the dreadnoughts can't even be used by infantry, instead it acts as an invisible wall for the pathfinding...

Ugh, the pathfinding is another thing, it can be a real pain in the arse when it gets cramped, I think the pathfinding should be looked at especially for infantry. They tend to get stuck in masses of troops. Personally I think if Relic made infantry models able to pass through other friendly infantry models (not vehicles, or enemy soldiers) it would help alot.

Agreed. It would be nice to have infantry formations, much like in HW. Some formations are better for defense, and some for offense. It would be nice to be able to set yourself up in an advantageous position by having a sort of fixed formation - think Empire Earth.

Of course, I'm dreaming because this isn't hard coded into the game and would really make it more like an AoEmpires kind of game than a fast paced RTS.

Agreed. As an example i would like to point out...the squiggoth.

Though a vast beast, which it's supposed to be...it uses INSANE amounts of space. Just today i had another fine example of this. There was ample space between my listening post and Da mek shop for my squiggoth to peacefully move in between if you compared the gap with the squiggoth's width. Yet for reasons unknown, it just stares at the gap and thinks...."i aint goin thru there". was really annoying. Hope relic fixes this
