View Full Version : Avatar didn't attack when surrounded

I've seen this multiple times. when the avatar unit gets surounded by other CC units, it refuses to attack, and just dies.

My best guess is it has a particular unit selected to try to hit, but the unit is in the very back of a group, and since surrounded, it just sits there and gets pumeled to death. (I know spelling sucks, sorry).

anyone else noticed this, or is it something else.

the most recent occasion was against 1 squad of possessed and the possessed killed it without losing a single unit, since the avatar didn't attack anything.

Did you try issuing a stop order and then re-issuing the attack command to a nearby unit?

This has happened to me as well. The avatar frequently gets confused, and stuck on terrain. During the SP mission where you have to kill the avatar, he wound up jerking around in a circle instead of fighting me.

Sometimes my avatar will run around and has difficulty closing with units. Or he will get confused and just sit there.

This has happened to me a bunch of times. Putting him on "Attack" engagement stance seems to lessen the occurences of this bug (though that may just be my imagination), but I can't find anyway to eliminate the bug entirely.
