Sound/lag problem

I get this problem on skirmish games, cant remember if its on campaign or not but when i am getting into the game, i get this sound lag, everything goes off and i can hear this distrorted elctrical sound until i selct something to make it speak or whatever. I have an Onboard AC97 codec for sound an Athlon 2000+ 1gb ram and a gefroce 4 ti4600.

Try updating your sound card drivers? Turning down hardware acceleration for your sound card?

Same thing happens to me. I have an Audigy2 ZS.

(Apparently, I just got every bug possible.)

Try un-randomizing the unit sounds.
