Problems playing online from campus

My school has a campus wide firewall and im pretty sure it's the reason i cannot connect to play online. I always get the "Couldnt connect to lobby system, check your internet connection..firewall..router"

Does anyone have a similar problem or know how to get aroudn this?

Convince your Admin to open up port 6667 for you.

The game needs that port to connect to gamespy.

Otherwise, you'll have to play LAN games, or connect using direct TCP/IP connections.
