now THIS is weird
whenever i change to 32 bit on any resolution, the words are totally blurred out, like hundreds of squares. the intro and other videos run better in 32 bit, and are much better colored, but in 16, it looks horrable and slow. :blah:
this doesnt mean i cant play with 16, but it looks ugly, and no1 wants that :D
ive updated my drivers to suit my nvida geforce4 MX 440
so can yall help me? id appreciate it alot, thnx

Get a better video card, honestly a MX440 is only using directx 8 you really need a directx 9 card, a nvidia 5900 or ATI 9600 should solve you problems and are fairly cheap, also if you are running this sort of card the what are the systems spec's?

Yea, that sounds like a problem with an old video card. I'm running 32 bit 1280x1024 on a Geforce FX 5200 with no problems.

I have a GeForce Ti4400 and have no problems what so ever running DoW at 32 bit 1280x1024 with highest graphic settings.
The MX-series is really a rip off. GeForce 3 Ti performs better than GeForce 4 MX.

Set your desktop to 32 bit, and your in game depth to 32 bit, and you should be fine with the 61.77 drivers.

aparently 61.77 wont work with my geforce4, it says i can install it tho.
im NOT installing a new video card to play this, cuz on the demo, the 32 bit worked fine, if not, better than 16, then i get the actual game and letters are blurred
but remember, letters being blurred is the only problem, nothing else
this isnt my computer unfortunetly, but in canadian, how much would a ATI 9600 (pro or not) come to?

You haven't been playing around with the quality settings in the nvidia display properties have you?
Messed up words are usually a result of using low quality mipmaps. I forget what options you have with nVidia as I am currently using ATI stuff, but you should move any image quality sliders you have to optimal quality rather than optimal performance.
